We do ask that an adult is present on site whilst children are participating.
Children can be left unaccompanied when attending the Go Tribe Activity Club.
We can accommodate 24 people on the Hawks View high ropes, and 16 on the Monkey Trail low ropes.
Sessions start promptly, please arrive 15 minutes prior to your booked time. For speedy admission, you can complete this acknowledgement of risk form in advance and bring it with you.
Time taken varies according to the competence of the individual. As a guideline, to complete all five elements, you should allow in the region of 2 hours.
Once bookings are complete they are non-refundable.
Vending machines offer hot and cold drinks and snacks. A small selection of ice cream is also available. Within Stanborough Park, there are other outlets to purchase food and drink.
Closed toes, sturdy footwear. Dress appropriately for the weather, but please, no strappy tops. No jewellery. Long hair must be completely tied back and there should be nothing in your pockets. We can look after valuables whilst you are on the course if required.
The course operates in all weather conditions, including rain, so dress appropriately! We will not operate in extreme cases of lightning or very high winds. Should we not run, you will receive a full refund.
Qualified instructors are on hand in these cases, should you feel you are unable to complete the course.
A qualified instructor will connect you to a continuous belay system (once you are clipped on, you cannot disconnect without the aid of an instructor) – and you remain attached for the duration of the course.
The Monkey Trail low ropes course is suitable for the majority (subject to meeting the health and safety requirements). The Hawks View high ropes is a challenging course and requires a reasonable standard of fitness. If you are concerned, please call 01707 328594.
There are limitations, to ensure we give you the correct and necessary information, please call 01707 328594. Access to the course itself is not accessible for wheelchairs. Disabled parking is available.
Yes, there are public toilets in Stanborough Park (including disabled).
Yes, there is ample parking. Stanborough Park is operated by Finesse Leisure who levy a small parking charge:
£1.50 for 1 hour
£3.50 for 3 hours
£5.00 for up to 24 hours
£1.50 with a residents parking permit
These charges apply at all times, payment can be made in cash at the machine, or alternatively you can pay-by-phone: call 0845 122 8008 (location code for non-residents: 2269, location code for residents: 9331).
Alternatively – you can pay online (a 30p sub charge applies).
Dogs are welcome in Stanborough Park. Whilst unfortunately, we cannot allow them in the confines of the ropes course, you can view from close proximity.
